For those of you who are offended by the taking of this beautiful animal, please be informed that the gentleman who hunted this particular animal is a member of Safari Club International.  Safari Club International's active membership of hunter-conservationists spent nearly $440 million on hunting-related activities, supporting myriad conservation programs throughout the world while also bolstering rural economies dependent on wildlife-associated recreation. Additionally, SCI's chapters spend more than $1.5 million on conservation projects annually.

This is one of six animals that are allowed to be taken per year.  The money collected for the hunt is being used to deter poaching and promote the health and prosperity of the species.  What was once a species at risk of extinction now has a population of over 7000 individuals.  This is a result of conservation efforts by groups like SCI.
